Our Mission

For over 35 years, Alan B. Lancz & Associates, Inc. has built a reputation of skillful and objective investment insight and analysis. Our diverse analytical team of experts has made this company the choice for many of the leading businesses, non- profits, and ultra high net worth families on the planet. In fact, Alan B. Lancz & Associates, Inc. has become the advisor’s advisor; where many prominent CPAs, attorneys, and financial firms place their trust and even their personal assets. The firm continues to pay team members education costs for advance degrees and worthwhile industry designations throughout their employment with Alan B. Lancz and Associates, Inc.

Alan B. Lancz & Associates, Inc has been very fortunate over the past decades to attract some of the smartest minds in the country specializing in various aspects of the investment and financial arena. This team approach fosters the same knowledge building based relationships that our founder, Alan Lancz, garnered with Sir John Templeton in the 1980’s and early 1990’s. Mr. Lancz is a Registered Principal and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF*). As with prior crises, the 2020 pandemic has given us an incredible stream of CFA’s, CPA’s, MBA’s and other financial experts to selectively add to our team.

Our Newest Associates

Chris Baccella, CFA

After an over two-year vetting process, Chris Baccella CFA, past president of the Detroit CFA society, is one of Alan B. Lancz and Associates Inc. most recent team members. Chris brings over 20 years of Wealth Management experience. Chris states, “It’s rare to find such a client-centric firm that offers personal, customized advice in today’s era of robot-management and one-size-fits-all solutions.   Furthermore, I was impressed with ABL’s depth of resources and non-traditional disciplined approach that can really make a difference.

Regarding Chris Baccella, President Alan Lancz says “that spending nearly 30 months in discussions about ABL’s philosophy and pro-active process gave Chris a good picture of what makes us different. As our interns that come from all over the world have learned over the decades, a position at ABL, Inc is not for everyone and involves a great commitment, desire to continually learn and at all times always putting the client first. This takes the work ethic and passion that few have, and we feel Chris will have a solid impact on our organization”.

Chris Baccella is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), former president of the Detroit CFA society, and a graduate at the University of Michigan – Dearborn. He currently lives in Southgate, Michigan with his wife and two sons and is a volunteer and avid supporter of St. Francis Cabrini Schools, Church and their athletic programs.
